1. What were you doing 10 years ago?
I was living in Reno and working at the best place I have ever worked: John Ascuaga's Nugget. It was so fun doing design for a casino, especially one that hosted the Best in the West Rib Cook-off. Five solid days of rib-bliss.
Todd and I had just started the kitchen remodel on our first house. I was attending classes at night at UNR.

These weird cheese cookie thingies that you can only buy at Wal-Mart, which is why I won't shop at Wal-Mart. (Yes, I did just Google them.)

Put a bunch away for L.E.'s Ivy League education.

I'm lazy and a procrastinator.
Sometimes instead of taking the clothes out of the dryer, I'll keep turning it back on to "fluff" until Dr. T. just does it himself.
I'll even confess to re-running the dishwasher so I won't have to empty it.
I'll ignore my daughter to check my Blogger stats.
7. Name some jobs you have had.
I've been a busgirl, hostess and food server at three different places. I was a reservations agent for Radisson Hotels. I've been a production artist or designer at four different places.
Now I'm a blogger, writer, social media marketer and anything else that I can get paid doing while wearing my sweatpants.
Future possibilities: PR intern, bestselling author, Oscar-winning screenplay, international spy.

Okay, I just love that you added future possibilities to your jobs! That's awesome! It's great to have goals. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd you live in Austin? I was raised there. Great city. You've lived a lot of great places actually!
